I own and host both homes on this site. I live in the Milwaukee area, a couple of hours down the road, and I've been hosting for about four years. I'm an Airbnb Superhost, a status Airbnb gives its highest-rated, most reliable hosts.
Why I host the way I do
When I started out, I hired a management company. My home was one account among many, guest replies were slow and small details got missed. Nobody feels that the way the owner does, so I took it over myself. Today every message, every turnover and every fix runs through me and a local cleaning and maintenance team I trust.
I've spent about two decades building technology and systems for a living, and that shows up in how the homes run: easy self check-in, quick answers, and a check-in from me on your first full day.
Why I started Hidden Dells
My family and I love the Dells, and we keep coming back. The waterparks, sure, but also the boat tours through the sandstone cliffs, the canyon trails, a night out on Broadway and a quiet evening around the fire pit. Most Dells websites only show you the strip. This site is where I share what we have actually done, with our own photos and honest notes on what is worth your time, so your trip is easier to plan.
Why "Hidden Dells"?
Two reasons: the hidden gems that make a Dells trip better, and the homes themselves, tucked in the woods, close to everything but away from the crowds.
