Hidden Dells (hiddendells.com) is run by WizTrip Properties, which owns and hosts the two vacation homes on this site. This page explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it's used. If you have a question, email hello@hiddendells.com.
What I collect
When you browse the site. The site doesn't ask you to sign up, and there are no contact forms. Like most websites, the hosting service keeps basic visit data (pages viewed, browser type, rough location by country or region, and the referring site) so I can see which pages are useful. This isn't used to identify you personally.
When you check dates or book. Availability, pricing and booking run through Hospitable, the property management system I use for both homes. When you search dates or book, you're using Hospitable's booking tools, and the details you enter (name, email, phone, number of guests, payment details) go to Hospitable and its payment processor, not to this website. Hospitable's own privacy policy covers how they handle that information.
When you email me. If you write to hello@hiddendells.com, I keep your message and email address so I can reply and help with your stay.
How I use it
- To answer your questions and manage your booking and stay
- To send you check-in details and messages about your reservation
- To understand which pages and guides are helpful and improve the site
- To meet legal, tax and safety obligations, such as collecting required room taxes
I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone except the services needed to run your stay (like Hospitable and its payment processor), or when the law requires it.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising cookies. The booking and search tools from Hospitable may use cookies or similar storage that they need to work, such as keeping your selected dates while you book.
Links to other sites
Guides and blog posts link to attractions, restaurants and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for how they handle your information.
Your choices
You can ask me to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you by emailing hello@hiddendells.com. Some booking records have to be kept for tax and legal reasons, and I'll let you know if that applies.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Bookings must be made by an adult 25 or older.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
