Edge-O-Dells Review: Live Music, Ribs and Broasted Chicken Off the Strip
Some of our best Dells meals have been just off the tourist strip, and Edge-O-Dells is one of them. We stopped in for dinner on a June evening in 2026 and had a great time: live music, a big covered deck full of people, and a plate of ribs and broasted chicken after a day out. It feels like a local hangout, not a tourist trap.

The vibe
Edge-O-Dells is laid back. The covered deck is the place to be on a nice evening, with plenty of tables, drinks and live music. Inside, the bar has wood beams, string lights and plenty of seating if the weather turns. It's lively, and we had no trouble bringing our son for dinner.
The live music was the highlight. Having a band playing while you eat makes dinner feel like a night out, and it's one of the things that sets Edge-O-Dells apart from the restaurants on Broadway.
The food
The menu covers bar and grill favorites: appetizers, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and dinners. We went with the ribs and broasted chicken, served with a baked potato and a breadstick. It's a big plate, and broasted chicken is a Wisconsin classic worth trying if you haven't had it.

Our verdict
Edge-O-Dells is the place we'd send friends who want a relaxed dinner with a little more personality than the strip. Come for the broasted chicken and ribs, stay for the music on the deck.
