Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Co.: A Giant Lodge-Style Brewpub
Visited March 2022

Moosejaw is one of those Dells restaurants that feels like an attraction. It's a huge, three-level lodge on the Wisconsin Dells Parkway, with big timber trusses, animal mounts and its own brewery. We had dinner there on our March 2022 trip, and it's an easy pick for a family or a big group.
Quick highlights
- A three-level, Canadian northwoods-style brewpub that seats more than 600
- Pizza is the specialty, from personal pans to 14-inch specialty pies
- A dozen-plus house beers brewed on site, plus handcrafted sodas, including root beer
- A breakfast buffet on summer mornings and weekends
- Known for its moose-topped delivery cars
The building
Moosejaw opened in 2002 and was designed to feel like a Canadian lodge, a nod to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. There's plenty of room for a large group, plus private rooms for parties.
The brewery is on the second floor and is open to view, so you can see the tanks from your table.

What to order
Pizza is the main event. There are personal, small and large sizes, plus specialty pizzas like BBQ, Taco, Fajita and the Meathead. Gluten-free crust is available in the small size. There are also burgers, sandwiches and entrees like a Friday fish fry.
For the adults, the house beers rotate, but Hazel's Nut House, a brown ale, is the brewery's most popular. For kids (and everyone else), the handcrafted sodas are a must, especially the root beer, which comes in bottles to take home too.
The moose cars
You'll probably spot them around town: Moosejaw's delivery cars, each with a giant moose on the roof. Moosejaw delivers to resorts and vacation homes around the Dells, which is handy after a long waterpark day.
